Ms. Wilkerson's decision to become an attorney was based primarily on her love for immigration law. After graduating from Louisiana Tech, she decided to temporarily leave the south by attending Penn State Law School. She briefly moved to New Orleans in 2020 to extern for ICE, then returned to North Louisiana after being admitted to practice law in 2021.
